When young wise prince saw the “the omen of Death” prince asked Channa whether he knows what this is… It is just like checking his friend, whether he too sees the death within, like the way he sees it. But the charioteer Channa wasn’t wise enough to see the third omen. He wasn’t wise enough to see the “death or dead body” within! So, he just gave the general explanation on “death” as many of us would have been saying it. Charioteer Channa too said that “We are all subject to death, and it is something that happened to all of us one day”.
It indeed sounds like that there is no option for it. Like we are destined to be dead at the end, so no solution for that… that’s the majority of ordinary being sound like when it comes to these subjects. Aren’t they? This is a good point which you should observe wisely. Coz in this way of thinking also it reflects that the death or aging or sickness is something unavoidable and an issue with no solution. But still the depth is missing.
As long as one doesn’t see the third omen of dead body, they don’t see the death as it is. So, instead of defining death by the visible facts or other assumptions, one should observe the real nature of death as an omen.
